are we civilised humans here?

Moral policing in Mumbai grabs Indian headlines..I cant stop thinking .." Are we Civilized as yet?" Due to some handful people we the Gen X of India wont be able to take this country into the league of the developed nations, for any country that lacks fundamental basics of human rights for humans living in 21 st century cant be a front runner amongst the world's nations. Mr Kalam you should speak up, for you are the one that had a vision 2020! Was this vision limited only to making India an economic powerhouse or did it also mean to give it's citizens a right to live as they want and how they want within the realms of the lands law?
The youngsters can protest, they can choose their next governments and I hope this time around we the Gen X an show the door to these goons. Oh by the way many of the Ram Sene protesters were wearing Shirts and Jeans, have they forgotten that as per their definition of Indian Culture they should atleast be wearing a dhoti?? What a waste we have made..this land deserved more!
