Yesterday I was seeing a travel show on a news channel..they were showing a particular traditional southern india restaurant which has now been running for over 50 yrs. The unique thing about this place was people had to sit in an uniform queue often called as 'Pangat' in marathi and food a whole meal with about 15 varieties of vegetables, dal and rice came for as cheap as 38 Rs (under 1 $). The other important thing to note was this restaurant had over 100s of people working in various kitchens behind main restaurant and a single guy was instructing all of them over a PA system. All in all I thought this as major advantage for people who earn less than a dollar a day, they can survive on this land too. This establishment was a world in it's own and truly classy, noble to feed so many people in a day.
